Hi all,

I have just bought Carrara 3D Basics 2 and have started with my first animations. So far it seems that I can only use key-frame animation. However, I would like to use motion paths.

  • Are motion paths supported by the animation engine in Carrara 3D Basics 2?

  • If not, are there any plugins available to enable this functionality in Carrara 3D Basics 2?

Hello Hakan, I don't believe that Carrara 3D Basics 2 has motion paths. :-/ That only comes with any of the non-Basics versions. Mark

Hmmmm... just my luck. Anyway, many thanks for the prompt reply. Coming to think of it - key frama animation is actually quite powerful...

Yes it is. In fact, even when I'm making motion paths, I'll key frame the initial motion first anyhow. Mark
