Hi there, long time lurker first time poster... :-) I'm trying find my way are Carrara, but although I find the interface intutive, I could still do with some turorials on room desein, for ecaple, crating the indide of a large room with celinds that are... right up three"""" and adding gothic textures... That sort of thing.... Links anyone?

Ummm yeah. Wrote this last night while I was falling asleep over the keyboard, so I can see that it make about as much sense as a politican... So, what I was trying to say is that I want to create some interior scenes to place my Poser models in. These are largely fantasy scenes, but there is also a MacDonalds type scene too... I can see how landscapes work, and I am guessing that interiors are just objects pulled together in the assembly room... I'm an instant fan of Carrara, but at the moment I am finding tutorials on the above hard to find. Anyone have a link or two for me? I have also noticed the post count for Carrara is not that high... there a reason for this?

Hi Larry, Yes, building interior scenes is just something that is done in the Carrara Assembly Room with a combination of the spline and vertex modeler. I thing the reason it may be difficult to find tutorials on it is because there is about a million ways to do it. So, my advice woudl be to open the existing content that comes with Carrara (from the browser tray) and inspect the scenes there to see what kinds of things have been done. It's a great shortcut to learning how to build interiors. :D Post back with specifica questions when you get them. Mark
