Subject: Free Honda models

I was recently directed to this japanese website that has 20 models of different honda products.  They come in either DXF or LWO format.  Each model is in about 20 pieces.  If downloading the LWO version you just uncheck "Auto-position" and check "Disable Auto-scaling" when importing and it will put all the pieces together correctly.  They even have that cool running robot.

Goto http://www.google.com/language_tools and put the webpage you want to translate in the "Translate a web page" box.  Then choose "Japanese to English BETA" from the box below that.

I wonder if it's okay to actually USE them for anything? Commercial renders, I mean. 😄

Seems like they'd frown on that.

From the little I can gather they seem to have had a contest where people would submit renders using these models.  I can't find anything that promotes or prohibits the commercial use of them.  I personally have just been playing with them.

Well, generally, if I'm in doubt, I don't use it. Cool models, though!

Thanks!
