Hi David, There are several ways to do this but the best way depends on the level of reality you are trying to acheive. The more realistic you get, the tougher it's going to be to accomplish - with Carrara or any software. Checkout the link above for some amazing footage. Everything is possible for a fee. If your client is really wanting reality, these would be the guys to sub contract. Option: Since it sounds like you might be accomplishing some of this in video post check out this link too: http://www.digitalanarchy.com/psunami/psunami_main.html Psunami is GREAT for either FCP or After Effects work flows. Personally, a combination of Carrara for the sand impression, and then video post for the rest would be what I'd do... MarkThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Hi. I'm having to go back and redue for scratch some animation for this project I'm working on. One thing they would like is a shot with the waves lapping against the shore and have the title sequence carved out of the sand and wash away with the waves. I know that I can create the text using an image map and i can animate it appearing and disapearing using layers in after effects. What I don't know how to do is animate the waves lapping against the shore. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Sincerely, David
