okay, im sick of poser, so now all i use is carrara, my question is is their a way to add boned figures (Vic, cloths, what have you) into the broswer, to simplafy my life?

Hi Jconxtc, With all objects EXCEPT Poser characters, you can simply drag them from your scene into the browser window/pane. If you do this with Poser content, wacky things happen. The best way acheive what you're asking for is to create a new Carrara document, import the Poser character you want with the Native Import option, adjust all of your textures to your liking in Carrara, delete all lights and cameras from the scene and save the file. This will becom a "master" file that you can then import into any given Carrara scene (yes, import a Carrara scene into a Carrara scene) Hope that helps Mark

Great suggestion Mark, but I have had problems with bone rigs when I dragged them to the browser and then tried to use them again. Could have been an issue with naming - bones were not named with unique names...

Hi Ominous, That's why I suggest creating specific Poser character .car files that you can import using the import menu option for instead of using the browser. Yes, the browser does mess things up with boned characters. Mark

Can't save a group of shaders either so that works also if you want to save textures to use w/ domains instead of a layers list.Would be nice to bea able to grp shaders or even select many shaders easier than one at a time while you click away.

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.

Mark, Good idea. That is what i do now. Even for animated elements in the scene. Thanks R
