Checking how Anything Goos shading works on NURBS and polygon objects. The orange piece is the original polygon object that was copied from the drone model modeled in Amapi Designer 7. The blue piece is a crack-free NURBS object modeled in Amapi Pro 7.51. Both shaded pieces had any edges greater than 50 degrees creased.

That's interesting, it does seem to look better with the simpler geometry of the orange piece. This is one of the three plug-ins I plan to get (Any Grows and Baker look like the most useful to me). Out of curiosity....I'm thinking Silent Running...?

I remember following postings about the modeling of these drones from SR -- I'd forgotten that you'd done them.... Very nice work! I'd be interested in seeing both versions without the wireframe overlay; Anything Goos looks like it's doing a great job to enhance a great model. - Dex

Here's the render with Wireframe Pro disabled. Yes, it's one of my Drone 1 models from Silent Running for doing test renders and textures with.
