Hi all, I can't seem to get this. I'm trying to create a brick/stone pattern for a castle and the background keeps showing through.

make sure your bump map isn't somehow in the transparency layer... if that's not the case, maybe some one else can help you.

Open you texture in Photoshop (or equal). There will be an alpha channel (check the 'channels' tab, or section) Remove the sucker. Resave. Clich the second icon (reload). That should help.
