  1. Is the toon renderer(filter) included now in C5P....it looks that way according to the manual, just not sure, as it asks for a serial to toon render when I start up C5P. 2. I need someone to point me to the Chapter on creating "alpha planes"/"billboards" I only see stuff on 2d planes when in the atmos editor talking about backdrops. 3. Regarding the Ground control plugin - do I need this with C5P? or all those abilities ie importing .ter etc already included TIA

TIA,

I can answer some of the questions.

  1. The Toon! filter, same thing that has been included since C1.1, is included in C5P, Toon! Pro the renderer is not.

  2. C5 includes importing raw 32bit elevation maps (r32 from things like World Machine), but does not include the other formats Ground Control supports; classic USGS DEMs, VistaPro format DEMs, Terragen TER files, Shuttle Radar Topography Mission HGT files, and BIL files.

Sounds like maybe you got the demo of toon pro. If you purchase a serial..it is the real deal, of course.Also...I am sure eric will tell you that if you are purchasing more than one you may want to look at eovias power pack which is a bundle of his plugins at a great price.

Thank Ren Mem...got it figured out :) After consideration I've held off on the toon thing...but got the Terrain plug. Thanks for all your help :)
