Subject: C5 sunlight and lens flare question

tkane18 ( ) posted Wed, 09 November 2005 at 9:33 AM · edited Sun, 12 July 2026 at 10:32 AM

In the past, you always had to manually move the lens flare to match the position of the sun. It never automatically linked itself to the sun's position like it does with other lights. Has this changed at all in C5? Thanks.

No. :( At least not in the beta. It may be for final release.

Are you reporting these to eovia?

Technically, I think that this is classified as a "wish list" item rather than a bug since it's an addition rather than something not working correctly. And the wish list is looooooooooong. ;)

It's always been this way since C2 so it's not really a bug but I may drop them a line about this anyway.

Yeah, I realize that, but if you remind enough hopefully they will fix the simple stuff ;) Honestly...these are the ones to knock off the wish lists because they are so easy...Never hurts.
