Subject: Anything Grooves Infinite Plane?

This is mainly directed toward Eric, but anyone can chime in. Is it possible to use Anything Grooves over an infinite plane? I saw a mention of a DCG tile shader and wondered if that would work? Any ideas or comments welcome... Thanks! Chuck

I've actually never tried it until now. It looks like the answer is no based on my first test here. It only extends as far as the visible infinate plane in the modeling room.

Thanks Mark... that's as far as I got with it as well. I will wait to hear from Eric, but I'm guessing the answer is "no." :-) Chuck

You've got it, Grooves will only modify the visible geometry on an infinite plane. If you want to throw out a bunch of tiles, I'd recommend using a Grooves primitive and just duplicate it as far as you can see.
