okay...fun's over. it's time to try and make my little clothing for v3. does the v3 blank contain all the jcm info that i would need to make a cr2 for a little dress i made? i know folks have said that pwizard gets the job done...how about morphmaster? tailor? cr2edit? basically, i am begging for the clue fairy to come to my house and clue me in on the simplest way to get this job done. for v2, i simply edited existing cr2's. thanks, guys. Poppi :*) who isn't crying yet, because she still has some hope.

Hmmm.....The best way to make the morphs themselves is probably with the Tailor. I'd say my own EasyPose Underground is probably the easiest way to set up JCMs. BUT will JCM even work properly in a conformer? I suspect not. Crosstalk will make it possible in Poser 4 but I doubt it will work at all in Poser 5. I'd be very interested to hear from anybody that's actually tried using JCMs in a conforming figure. Do they respond to posing of the target figure or not?

i just bet that it is really harder than folks make out. otherwise, i think alot more folks would have made v3 clothing for the market, by now. i don't have p5, so, that's a blessing. i guess, i'm gonna jump in and do some trial and error, at this point.

Jim Burton just did this for his Glamorous Vicky package at DAZ. Perhaps he could help?

I actually wrote up a long message on the system I used, it is posted in the Characters and Clothing forum at PoserPros. My basic system involved running the morphs in the figure up and manually creating matching ones in Max, to tell the truth I think The Tailor is going to be a little of a too-blunt axe for this. I got most of them the first time, one in GV's dress took 5 versions befoe I was happy with it, it was the one for the breast-lift, this one is tough because it is double-ended, and has to work right in both directions.

i spent the last couple of hours playing with v3 and my clothing. they mostly worked..."straight off". even with over the head arm poses. jim...i did read your thread at poser pros, it confused me. i may play with making my own morphs, in rhino, this weekend. however, for normal poses...even the ones with arms over head...there is not that much error. most of my problems seem to be occuring in the plain shoulder region..and with a bit of scaling or rotating...it fixes up pretty quick.
