Artist Of The Month [AOM] ... March's
AOM will be an artist from the Bryce Gallery. If you are
unfamiliar with the artwork of our nominees, please take a few
moments to look over their galleries. Please consider the entire
body of work by each nominee. Click on the names below to view
their respective gallery. Voting will run for one week, with the
results posted next week.
Artist of the Month is highlighting a talented Renderosity artist that has been nominated by mods, and admins and voted by the community. Recognition is given to this member for their collection of works for that year. Since we only select one AOM per month, it is not about their works for that particular month. Instead, it is about highlighting a talented artist's works for that year and they are recognized during that month. To learn more about Renderosity's Artist Of The Month [AOM] award, and to view our past AOM's, please visit the AOM 2006 page, which can also be found on the sidebar under Highlights.
wow! what a great collection of incredible artists! the choice was tougher than i thought and after reviewing their galleries i surprised myself with my choice of striving. it was quite a treat viewing all their galleries again. thank all you for the pleasure. kely
Great images in these galleries, but there is something I do not understand about this AOM vote: How can we vote for artists whose gallery contains images from 2003 on the first page? They participated in the AOM votes during the last three years with the same images? We could then nominate Durer and Leonardo da Vinci in the 2D category ... I do agree that somebody working seriously on his/her images will not post something every day, but hey, 2003 on the first page? Is it OK?
On the whole a good collection of artists. Very representative of what can be done in our beloved. I guess I'll brush up a bit more and hopefully get in that list sometime in the next 20 years. Good luck one and all. Especially the one I voted for. :-)
There's several artists there who are in my favourites - a truly great bunch and a difficult choice to make. I voted for Flak, as not only does he produce great art, he's also done some great tuts, my apologies to those I didn't vote for as you all deserve recognition.
