The Renderosity Online Art Community Proudly Presents Innovative New Galleries
Premiere On-line Art Gallery Has a Whole New Look

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) July 25, 2006 - Renderosity, the leading community hub for digital artists, is excited to announce the official Grand Opening of their innovative, new online art galleries based on the new Bondware 3.0 php platform.

Some of the new features include the Renderosity "Art Charts" which are based on a wide range of information for each category, taking into account statistics for images, artists and merchants from the last week of gallery traffic. Each category has a unique method of rank determination that has been thought out and tweaked carefully to help make the Charts a fair and informative representation of the most enjoyed art during the last week. In addition, Renderosity introduced "Art Blogs" and the "Gallery Patrol" to empower members with fun tools to actively participate within the galleries and the community at large.

Renderosity spent the past year upgrading and enhancing its entire website, section by section, starting with the MarketPlace. With more than 450,000 registered members, the galleries were by far the largest piece to be converted. Established in 1998, there have been over 1 million images and 7 million comments posted. During the conversion, more than 720,000 images and almost 7 million comments were transferred.

The new Bondware 3.0 software platform will provide the platform necessary to provide digital artists with a unique set of features and functionality specially designed with digital artists in mind.

Over the years, the Renderosity Galleries have been highly customized based on community requests for more features and functionality. "It's the community that has made Renderosity what is today," said Stacey Granstaff, Community Manager. "We have always been a community created for artists by artists. Now, our community has reached a whole new level together."

In order to continue to serve the growing needs of the ever increasing member base, Renderosity is converting the entire site to the new Bondware 3.0 software platform which would provide faster performance and greater flexibility for additional customization.

Many digital art sites have come and gone over the years, but the Renderosity Art Community has stood the test of time. By listening to the community and working hard to meet the evolving needs of digital creators, Renderosity has established itself as a centralized hub for 2D and 3D graphic artists, animators, photographers and writers all over the world. Renderosity will continue its mission to serve to be a thriving, productive environment that encourages an atmosphere of community, respect, collaboration, and growth for artists of all levels and backgrounds.
