I want to take a moment to address any concerns our members may
have regarding the Heartbleed Bug. For those of you who pay by
credit card on Renderosity, you'll be happy to know that this
vulnerability did not affect the version of OpenSSL we are using,
so none of the secured transactions made on our site were left
vulnerable and no member's information was at anytime insecure.
For those who use PayPal to pay for your Renderosity purchases,
PayPal has released the following statement to their users:
Paypal: “We would like to assure you that with regards to the
Heartbleed bug: 1) Your PayPal account is secure, 2) Your PayPal
account details were not exposed in the past and remain secure, 3)
You do not need to take any additional action to safeguard your
information, 4) There is no need to change your password".

Let me also assure each of you that Renderosity does not, and never
has, stored user credit card information online. We do internally
store credit card information for those of you who subscribe to
such services as the File Locker and Gallery Plus in our business
systems. However, this information is not accessible via the
internet or through the website.
