Staff Spotlight for September is: 3DFineries

3DFineries is one of our Moderators and an Exclusive Vendor here at Renderosity. She is always ready to jump in and help her fellow team members, vendors, etc. We are very thankful to have her not only as a part of our team but also as a valued member of Renderosity.

Please tell us a little about yourself:

We know you've been a member for 10 years; What introduced you to Renderosity?

I had downloaded Daz Studio back in the early V4 days to have a creative outlet & I picked up Poser 6 shortly thereafter. It quickly lead to searching for sites offering for sale items & Renderosity was the first place that caught my attention. That's when my journey really began as I started exploring the possibilities. I always have help when I need it, I get to meet wonderful people, and I've been here ever since.

How long have you been creating art?

As long as I can remember really. I loved to draw & paint with oils when I was younger. The muse has evolved over the years and dove into a broad range of artistic dabblings. Art comes in so many forms, I can't just use one, and when one form isn't working for me, I switch to another until I can push past it & return to my main projects.

What is your favorite work of art you created?

That's easy. My Pharaoh's Garden prop is my favorite by far. It took 4 months from start to finish, but I'm so picky when it comes to how my Egyptian models look that I would toss out work & start over when I got frustrated. I drew so many hieroglyphs that my carpal tunnel would only let me work on it at a snail's pace. There's a lot of love in that prop set & I never would have made it through to the end if it weren't for the encouragement from the friends I have made here.

What advice would you give to members who are just getting started with Renderosity?

Don't be shy or afraid to ask for help when you need it. Artists here are very helpful and with their guidance, the art within you will evolve into something amazing & beautiful. And always have faith in yourself. :)

What do you enjoy most about being a Renderosity Staff member?

I love, love, love working in the galleries. Discovering new artists makes me a happy lady. I like helping the members when I can, taking care of the VWD forum & gallery, and my fellow Staff members are a lot of fun.

Is there anything you would like to share with us that we may not know about you?

I'm just a lady from Georgia, living in South Florida with a love for Ancient Egypt. I like to sew my own clothing and craft my own embroidery designs. I also had a sister I knew nothing about until 1999 & finally met her in August. My family & friends are my everything.
