Description
Okay so not quite an elder. More a middle aged, seasoned none the less.
This is still very much a WIP, but I figured I'd post this, as with the release of the last one I did mention that there would be more stuff coming.
There are changes to how things are done on this one too. Like any straps or soft materials are rigged separately from the armor, so bend twisting or bending say the forearms, there's no breaking of the soft coverings that stick out of the gauntlets.
The gauntlets too do not include the blade part or the computer part as a part of the harness rig, but are separate, and can be swapped. As in you can have say, the computer gauntlet on both arms, or the blade on both or which ever combo you want. This allows for expandability too.
Note the dreads (all new) in some renders has beads, and in others does not. The beads are a separate rig as well.
The head is a revamped P1 style, and the quills and thorns are added props. Can't keep them visible when the bio helm is on because they just through.
Still have the old sandals on him there, but there will be new ones, and the feet haven't been retextured yet.
The skin has more detail now as well, though still some seam issues to deal with.
Ultimately what I'd like to do is create a few different variations with the various heads so if you have a scene with multiple preds, they don't all look the same.
This will be a bit yet, as I'm working on other things while I work on this.

Even better than the already perfect predecessor. The hair jewelry is hot. The new blade on the left arm like it too well. Alien heads for the small take-shedding. Had made three times in silver. Looks good. The copper-colored metal texture ebenfals is very good. The whole figure is thought out and incredibly modeled professionally. Incidentally, the video is funny: (? http://www.youtube.com / watch v = nrqSCn0sBPw & feature = related). I am thinking, what weapons are still possible. Since the Yautja remember anything about gladiators, nor a battle-ax and the trident would be missing. Of course in the technology of the future. wondering if you might have plans to continue the aliens figures maybe do a alien queen, dog alien, freak predator, alien egg? The dog Alien may only require some morphs and a mover file, to replace the feet with another rigged mesh, I would guess that would be alot more easy then remodeling an entire new figure since there is very little difference between this alien and alien 3 other then the missing spines and the dog legs and feet. An Alien egg I guess would have to be modeled, probably not very easy to model, so it opens and closes with an interior that has some texturable blobs that can be textured to look like alien guts and stuff, maybe have it so that when the egg opens some slime streaches along the pedals this could probably be done with a transmapped part, a face hugger tail that moves around as the egg morphs open would be cool too that can be made invisable or visable depending if the person wants to use that 2007 face hugger that was released awhile back that is a very good model. I think the chestburster can also be done the same way with a mover file, by simply adding a tail to the chest and some moprhs and a texture to give the alien a smoother less developed embreonic look, since you already have the tail modeled it would simply need to be reattached to the chest, this effect can be achieved in still images as it stands now, by simply making the legs and hip invisable, but it would pose a problem in annimation requireing a figure rig. Frands munds released an Alien queen not that long agoe, it's a pretty decent model, but I think has a few issues, be pretty cool to see a more accurate one made as well, probably the most challenging on my wish list lol.
