Description
___ This photo was taken only a couple of days ago, at the top of a hill surrounding my home city, and I was only too happy to see the snow and frost back, after a long and mild winter season last year, without any snow at all, something unusual and exceptional in this part of the country. Despite the biting chill in the air, at least this winter looks like a real winter !
____ I have been away from Renderosity for quite a while, so let me wish you all a Happy New Year and the best you may wish for yourselves in these times of persistent lockdowns and frustrated prospects among many of us. There's no real alternative but to remain positive and hopeful for a better future...

C'est tellement joli, pour en profiter au maximum il ne faut pas hésiter à l'agrandir.
Une belle photo pour commencé l'année, je te souhaite une "meilleure année" parce que l'an dernier on a essayé "bonne année" et cela n'a pas bien fonctionné

On a beau savoir qu'il doit faire un froid de canard, on ne peut pas s'empêcher d'être admiratif devant cette oeuvre d'art et d'avoir envie d'aller crapahuter au milieu de ces arbres.

It is a very beautiful image! I love it! But I don't need any reminders of how a 'real winter' can feel. I had enough of them growing up in North Dakota where you really get an indelible mark of 'winter feel' LOL. May you have a wonderful, and prosperous New Year as well! Superbe image hivernale c'est féerique... en effet, pour pouvoir mieux en profiter cela vaut la peine de l'admirer en plein écran ! J'adore la neige autour de ma maison et dans le jardin sauf lorsqu'il faut faire un passage avec une pelle 🙁 ! Merci pour le partage de cette merveille de la nature !! Une véritable merveille de la nature que tu as su parfaitement photographier. J'adore ce genre de photos. En général on fait vite pour les shooter sinon on gèle sur place. LOL. Merci de ton passage sur mes fractales, cela fait plaisir. A bientôt et attention aux sales petites bêtes qui veulent nous mettre à mal.

We rarely get frost here, it's never the right temperature/humidity combination. Right now it's -20C outside. (I think that's -4F or something like that)

Real fascinating. It must be such a surreal experience seeing the branches of trees all covered in white. I've never seen snow or frost all my life. (I did see hailstones once, though.) Thanks for sharing this, and best wishes for the new year, too!
