• Renderman 20 has been released. This Pixar-created high-end rendering application is free for non-commercial work. In addition, the folks at Blender.org have created a plug in (PR Man) that allows the newest version of Blender 2.75 to use the Renderman 20 as a renderer.
• Akvis OilPaint 4.0 is out. This application turns photographs into high-quality oil painting.
