Personnally, I was at the end of my creative rope with free hand art, I just couldn't bear to draw another one even if I was able to think of something. As a longtime member of "Elfwood Fantasy Art" I saw some work by Daio and was hooked. I found this place in serch of stuf for my new way to try art and found this place to be a community were I can learn and grow as a digital artist. A place where I can experiment and grow a more fully rounded skill. A thousand thanks are meaningless, only participation can best show the power of this grand community. My hope is that in time i can help out more and share my work for others as they have given so freely to me. Thanks Jack, and thanks to all of this group.
I would like to thank the founding members indeed all members who make this such a wonderful place to be.I have only been a member for a week now and already feel a part of the "family"My condolances to you and your family in this your time of mourning.Very best regards,Pollux

It's great to see this place really grow! Now we all have TWO great places to share our art and knowledge - Willow's original Poser Forum Online at www.poserforum.net (going into its third year - founded in June 1998) and now a baby sister site; Renderosity, started by those who decided to leave the PFO in search of their own place :) Newc
Jack, Like some others here my art had gone stale. Now, I'm not a commercial visual artist (though I AM a comercial audio artist). But the visual art had been my escape and joy for a long time. But that looked like it was at an end. Then, in bouncing around the net I saw some art that realy looked interesting. 3d art. Somehow I found this site and Renderotica and started hearing about Poser and Bryce and...and...and...the next thing you know I was installing a brandy new copy of Poser 4 and saving up for Bryce and, as far as my art goes, doing stuff I'd never imagined I'd be able to do. This site has the best bunch of folks, both running it and using it, that I've found on the other "so called" communities on the web (ever watched the goings on at mp3.com? GAK!). To say "Great Job" is to restate the obviouse. A good site gets the hits, a bad site doesn't. Yours does and is!
A special thank to this great and helpful family. I was just "surfing" the net when I found you, and day after day I learn something new. This is great for people like me who just "paint" for pleasure. All people here are so willing to help, and this is fantastic. I learn everyday something new. Thanks everybody. You're all great!
When I was looking into buying Poser I found this site. I watched the members of this forum communicating and sharing, and I realized that even if the Metecreations couldn't answer all of my questions I'd always have a group of people to rely on in a fix. You guys are the reason I got into this stuff. Thank you to the founders and to all of you who have shared your knowledge and work. Aharon
Jack, Renderosity gives us all inspiration. Being able to share are creations motivates us to keep dreaming and realizing those dreams through computer graphics. In addition, being able to share enables us to share advice and grow better in our craft. We'd survive without Renderosity and the like, but I for one wouldn't want to try it!
Amo, amavi, amatum, amat, if I remember my latin correctly; the forms of the word "loving". It's the root of the word "amateur" - one who does what s/he does for love of doing it. That's what one finds on R'osity, a creative witch's cauldron into which everyone throws their labors of love, and everyone gets to sip the magic potion that results. And you, Jack, and the otherwitch doctors of the R'osity staff provide the cauldron and keep the fire burning. Thanks to you all!
A million thanks JDK! As a self-confessed loner and a computer geek, it's nice to know that I have somewhat of an extended family out there, one who shares my artistic interests and passions. Thank you for building this community and let's hope we could make it a million members strong!!!
I think this site is awesome. I had just started doing 3D artwork and I was surfing the net just looking around to see what I could find on 3D stuff. I ran across this site and my search ended there. You guys got everything anyone could ever need! And I love the look of the pages there so easy to navigate. I rate you guys a #10 for everything!
Congratulations ! And a BIG thank You, Renderosity, Our Family, for being. You put a smile on our faces.
You're a mother,
You're a friend and a teacher,
You're a lover,
You're a clown and a preacher...
