OBJ & FBX Files and How To Find Them?
Click Here to visit our MarketPlace.
You already know that Renderosity has a great selection of Poser and Daz Studio ready content. While we're very proud of the quality and selection that we can offer in these areas - we also realize that there is a large number of Renderosity members seeking alternative product compatibility for their favorite software package(s).
Over the last several months the Renderosity MarketPlace team has been working closely with our talented group of vendors in broadening the file extension options when a product is brought to market. For example, .OBJ and .FBX file types continue to grow in popularity due to their flexibility in working well across a wide variety of 3D applications and you may notice that more and more of the products in our MarketPlace have these file designations.

How to find products that contain particular file extensions?
With tens of thousands of active products in our MarketPlace, our team is always looking for ways to streamline the process in which our users find the products they're looking for.
There are numerous 2D & 3D software packages and even more file extensions that are compatible with these programs. We realize that, in many cases, those shopping our MarketPlace might only be interested in certain file extensions for the project at hand. Today, we're excited to announce that we've recently added a new file type search feature to help narrow your search results.
Please take a moment to view the screenshots below and spend some time getting acquainted with this new feature.
When you visit the MarketPlace Homepage you'll now see a File Search option this section's menu. It's here where you can filter the products that are presented to you to only include those that contain the file extension that you select. Screenshot below.
Once you select the file extension of your choice from the File Search Menu, you'll then be presented with ALL of the products that contain files with that supported file type. Screenshot below.
Furthermore, once you have your file type selected, you can then select a vendor (in this example TruForm) to further narrow your results for ALL of TruForm's products that contain OBJ file extensions. Screenshot below.
