Just a bit-o-fun in between TNA pages...
I've been going through my (massive) archive of old photos, and found this one from around 19 - 20 years ago. There was a display of cow sculptures around a fountain in the northern side of Kansas City. I thought it needed a little extra, so I asked Lisa if she'd pose on top of this scurvy cow pirate. She said "Sure!" took off her shorts and halter, and here you have it! And there wasn't even one car crash at the light in the background! LOL
It took a bit of fiddling to get her shadow looking right, or close to it, but I'm pretty happy with the result. I did tick the nudity thingy for obvious reasons.. You can clearly see the plastic cow's udder, after all! LOL
Got the minivan scheduled to go into the shop on October 4th. The estimate was about $2400.00 - for that bit of a scratch! Thankfully, I'll only have to pay $250. And the insurance is providing a rental, so I'm not too stressed...

Lisa did a good job holding steady for the shot on this image, the surface she is on looks slippery. Getting the lighting just right can be a bit difficult on these composited images...you did a great job matching the shadows! Its nice to hear everything turned out well with your van Rod! :-)

Awesome composition, Rod! You blended the character perfectly with the photo and the shadow looks like it really was a photograph.
Had to schedule an appointment with the car mechanics too. My car has a defective central locking and the backdoor on the driver side doesn't lock anymore. Since the car is already 16 years old and a new lock costs me 500 bucks, I didn't plan to replace it. Now since the week before the last, somebody got through my car and it happens, that sometimes I have some music instruments or rc model planes in the car over night, I don't feel comfortable any more, to not have that fixed (let alone that the insurance wouldn't pay a single cent, because the thiefs wouldn't even to have to break it up, but just open the back door…).

wow, fascinating stuff about Jo (in one of your replies): It's great that she assisted in your photo days, and I never thought about how a woman's presence can put female models at ease. Love that you shared that.
A seamless combo of Lisa with the photo; and your shadows and light on Lisa are expert; I don't know how they're done, but they are really complex. As for Lisa, you made her a classic pinup, sexy and waving to us. (Lol on the cow's udders being visible but not Lisa's breasts...maybe the cow should cover up too: ya never know when some bulls might wander by...) The clouds surround her head and shoulders too (and that cow's got shoes! and an earring, and pirates 'do'). Great combo of the cow with Lisa. She looks like she's about to sit up and ride him outa town...Expert combining and blending, Rod.
I read in a comment somewhere that you were under the weather---hope you're doing better. And, I've had scratches on cars that cost a fortune: You look at the bill and ask, "what the---? for a scratch???" I'm glad the ins. is paying the lion's share. All the best to you and Jo, rod; I hope this fall is much, much better than the summer...
