Description

Made with Terragen. Only postwork is white surf at sharks fin (and sharpen, brightness/contrast). At high tide some of the big old sharks come into the shallow waters to look for pray. If some of the sharks look a bit like rocks then this is because they are very very old sharks ;-) Thanks to pulsar69fr (Philippe) for telling me about dxf to bmp conversion etc., to Chikken (Tom) for telling me about 3ds Max etc., to LutzB (Lutz) for telling me about overlays etc. and to FredBezies(Frederic) for telling me about VM terrains. Comments are welcome

That looks big enough to be a Carcharodon megalodon, I hope "no swimming" signs are posted. I can only hope you plan to write a tutorial.

Shallow Waters This picture took me a long time to make, mainly because of a lot of trial and error.. but it was much fun to do. I is hard to say how much I appreciate your comments without making it sound like a clich but I really appreciate it and I am very happy that you all took the time to see and validate my picture :-)

christianfly: You are welcome fly! I got so happy when reading this (where you turned my thanks around :-)
unah: The idea has been playing in my head for a long time, but not until now I could make an attempt to implement it. Glad you like it.
arthez: Ha ha .. so you expect great ideas from me? I will try (sometimes) to live up to it. The colors. Yes, I tried both some new coloring and high contrast atm.
Golog: .. o_O ... ha ha .. yes. I my self are very afraid of sharks when I swim, and glad that my TG sharks looks terrifying to you :-). Kind words regarding idea, surface and water also.
chikken: A way to combine TG and 3D modelling a bit. Thanks again for your 3ds max hints.
Vandaler: So good to hear that you appreciate my work and comments. I am very glad to have found this community and also that you are here.
eponce: Yes a TG imageo with sharks .. ha ha .. and you find my attempt both original and cool. Thanks :-)
fractalneil: LOL .. a 'Carcharodon megalodon' shark (3 times as long as the Great White Shark, and mainly eating whales!) .. lovely association! Thank you for your comment about a tutorial (no I have no such plans, but thanks for the thought :-)
Dotthy: You are not late. For me it is always wonderful to get comments no matter how many or how late. Thank you :-)
prutzworks: ROLF .. ha ha .. thanks prutz.
Blitzz-Licht: Yes this was the idea, thanks Blitzz!
Margit1: I am very pleased to know that you think it is original.
ChatAustin: Ah, your comment on my creativity is much appreciated. Thanks.
Hatebreeder: Ah thanks for the wonderful comment on srf and ter.. and your warming words! :-)
ISSE:That comment is very good to hear from you! Makes me very glad :-)
DrOGaN: Thanks, I am very glad that you think so.
Rammstein: Glad you like the water. Yes not many make terrains like this ;-)
