This is rendered in scanline in a volumetric [sphere ] environment. It's done by placing a Shaped,[round or square depending on need] parallel light, Control Y falloff, with an .itx light texture, your choice, on it, directly under your scene pointing up thru it, Scale the Y axis of the light to where you want the effect to stop, and the X and Z to cover the scene. The texture, in this case RJJCausticLight, will dictate which colours shine up as columns of light and where...cool eh? Volumetrics are up to you but I found it works best with 0 emission and a mid range[10,000] scattering, I set noise ammount to 0 and quality to 8, and 0,0,0 for the second noise dialogue tho that's really un- necessary as you've already turned it off in the last dialogue. 0 falloff and I left the step size at default when I set up the volume object and it scales with it when I scale the object to encompass different scenes, tho I do tweak all the other settings for other scenes.That's it for a mini tute...enjoy ..comments welcome as always...thanx 4 looking, peace
