Description

I posted this image before under the name "Pearls Place". I did not think it should have a nudity flag as her breasts and genitals were not visible. I was told I had to flag it as there were 'no clothes'. I used this image as an example for the senselessness of the nudity rules and interpretations in threads titled "Flexi-rules: to be bent or broken at moderator’s/admin’s whim" which I posted in the vue, poser and community forums. The first 2 got locked by the moderator, but in the third, http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2808887 there were recent developments. Apparently, this image no longer requires a nudity flag. The situation in general is still as clear as mud, but at least this image can be free of censorship. So here it is again, just for the record. ----------- Subtle rainbow colors mostly from the blue-green-yellow part of the rainbow. It started vibrant but mellowed in the creation process and seems to fit in better with the feeling. Not very many polygons in the scene but lots of translucency so it took forever to render. Materials designed and made by me in Vue. All of them are procedural, except for the eyes region of her face. (Giant shell is a free item from c3d which I textured.)

it's nice to see you posting here again, even if it's just a reprise. and i agree with you. the old rules were nuts, because you could actually have clothing there with the appearance of nudity and it didn't matter. and it went against the general rule about such things, which goes by community standards, since it was way more restrictive than magazine covers in the supermarket. as i pointed out many times, and was told i don't know what i'm talking about. i found out the rules changed only because they actually changed a label on my work after it was posted. crazy.

Fantastic job on the translucent materials here (is that actual SSS?), and a great render. The nudity rules are so silly that I flag something even if some "cheek" is showing due to skimpy underwear. But think of the traffic you'll generate with viewers hoping to see nudity, only to be disappointed with seeing good artwork!

This is fantastic. I really like the translucency and the reflections.
