Description

Portrait of one of my bits and pieces from everyone. I just thing she looks like she has a lot on her mind, like myself. I have been rather lost without a muse lately and spent 5 days hospitalized recently with a very acute appendix. That part went well, but it was the next 4 that almost put me out. I was given morhpine and was having allergic reactions to it and "NO ONE" would listen to me to stop the intraneous insjects......even ice one my lips would make me hurl everything, and it went on till it started into respitory distress, gosh I never cried so hard in my life and scared!... that no one would hear my plea.... I did feel a hand layed upon my head on the last day, 20 minutes after I prayed with a lady that came in and asked if I wanted to have her pray for me. WOW, ask and you shall recieve really works. So my friends, here is my advice to all. Never leave a family member alone in the hospital for any length of time and listen to the patient, especially when they keep repeating things over and over again. Just might be something in it to be aware of, and hug life dearly daily. And thanks to each and everyone that stops in to visit my corner of rendo, whether you a comment or not, ( still love to know what u think though, still trying to improve any suggestions would help). Credits ??? I do remember the hair is RigoHair V3.

Everyone has a story about someone saved by a doctor and a story about someone they put at unnecessary risk. This sweetie is working on her glare.

So sorry that you went through this BAD experience, Linda. Sadly, even with our modern advances, medicine is not an exact science and all too often a busy intern or a flustered nurse doesn't listen ( or worse, thinks they know best). Your beautifully rendered model looks as though she might be building up a head of steam -- look out hospital!!

She does have a very pensive expression. Great work on this. And I'm so glad to hear you are okay after your ordeal. I'm sure you were terrified and felt so helpless...and then you got some help. I do agree that the hospital can be a very dangerous place. When my mom was ill years ago my dad stayed with her night and day and many of the nurses, especially the night shift, didn't know how to change an iv and he used to do it. Happy you are home and recovering. CC

Sorry I missed this.... I like alot she looks real not just the avg. portrait. In fact with different hair style she would have the look of an upper crust English woman from the victorain period. Here she has the look of maybe sexy middle age woman from France, one of the nordic countries, or some exotic place like that, kind of hard for me to explain right now. I like alot your lighting on her shows up so much detail in face, lips, and hair. This is excellent Bravo!!!!!!

I am sorry to hear about your health issues. I went through a similar situation... being in a hospital is like being in prison... I actually made a therapist listen to me and she was almost fired for it... By the way, nice render.

Very nice portrait, how do you make something like that? Do you upload a poser figure in photoshop and just start painting?

Thanks for your comment on my "Witnessing a Fight" picture. I'm sorry you had such an ordeal at the hospital and hope you are all healed now. I'm a nurse, or was, rather, and listening to the patient and be their advocate is KEY when you work as a health care professional. Always saddens me when colleages fall short of that. Love this portrait - she's looking far in the distance with a very intriguing expression on her face. Great job! Gun aka redheadgrrl
