They look like they're doing the Hokey Pokey...I thought they were supposed to fly south to warmer climates? Poor silly ducks! What a great shot!

Great pic! Brings back memories of South Lake Tahoe. We'd get a freeze, and the ducks who were partying in Reno wouldn't know the water was frozen. It was a side-splitter to watch them land as if on water and go sliding downrange! Usually one or two landings like that and the others would figure out that the landing zone was frozen.
