Just way TOO cool, D.W.! This is an excellent composition (one of your best, in my opinion)! Your scene is very much like the street my band would have to walk down in order to get to one of the bars we played at back in the mid-late 60's, in Oxford, Ohio, the home of Miami University. There were four of us in the band back then, two were 15 and two were 16 when we started playing there. One of our Student teachers was our manager. And, he was a senior at Miami, at that time. But . . . . talk about an education . . . . . . and, we weren’t even enrolled!

I didn't get there in a pink Cadillac convertible like this one (and, this one comes with some really nice options, to say the least !!!!). It was a canary yellow ’65 Mustang convertible which was just big enough to get a Fender Bassman amp in the back seat and a Rickenbacker bass case in the trunk. But, that did still leave one seat open !!!

My hair used to be about that color and length, too. Plus, it used to cover the crown of my head like it does this guys !!!!!!!

There is no hidden meaning in the “g1tip” ID. Way back in the day when you could get a 3.5” floppy disk off of just about any retail store’s countertop to install AOL, I did just that. Being very original (and “hep”), I decide to use my first, middle and part of my last name as my login ID (GLTIP). But, to my astonishment, somebody had already taken that login. So, they suggested g1tip, g2tip, g3tip, etc. So, without hesitation, I grabbed up the g1tip because it most resembled gltip. So, that’s that, in a nutshell.

The guy in your image looks like a true “Rock-a-Billy” fan and I am indeed that. I still love listening to the old rockers! When the Stray Cats LP came out in the early ‘80’s, it was like I was reborn (again)!
