The cube is subdivided, punctured, skinned, trellised and smoothed.

Bryce with topmod3d and lots of PhotoShop CS3.
The floor space is multiplied in as light yellow.
The shell or skin is multiplied in as light blue.
The supporting elevator towers ares multiplied in as light purple.
The floor, skin and supports are separately rendered as depth and altitude renders, then converted to lines in layers with my "Depth To Line" action in PhotoShop, and multiplied in with various settings of opacity.
