Description

I've been away for a while; took a week of vacation, then spent the next week trying to learn to be productive with Lightroom while dealing with the 2400 photos we took. Here's a panorama of Crater Lake taken from the north rim. You can see that it was a very windy day, and it was quite cool, at least for August. There are two white spots on the far shore that look like they might be snow. They are. This is the actual color of the lake. I touched the tone curve just a bit, but didn't tweak the color at all. This is a wide image, but it's not very tall. Try full size; I'd like to think it's worth the horizontal scroll. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Awesome shot, Haven't actually seen it since the early 60's and stood in snow to my waist in mid August. Also the year we went to the Oregon caves and read a newspaper at ten feet by match light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
