I have one just like it. Not being sexist (seriously), but I'm VERY impressed you not only know what this is but you used it so much you needed a new blade! AWESOME Andrea. I was chained to one of these in my job through university. Good healthy back breaking work!

A bit long-in-the-tooth compared to the saw I used to cut a PVC plastic pipe this afternoon:-) Postwork makes it pop. Like it.

you turned this into a terrific abstract. Your postwork is perfect. In fact, with all your recent topaz work (which I love), I've almost forgotten this style---this way of isolating different tones and making 'colonies' out of them. The surfaces feel flatter, and the pics, as a result, feel more graphic (your topaz work is more painterly and sensual). This is very graphic, and the juxtaposition of the sheer lines of the saw---and that great rusted and broken painted metal---against those long flat areas of wood and background are just terrific together. A terrific piece, Andrea. All about texture, line, collision, and space.
