Description

I'm bAAAaaaaaaak! Spent months attempting to master Blender, an open source application for modelling, animating, etc. I have been wanting to build my own models for some time. My first 'project' has met with some limited success. If anyone out there in renderland has any tips to give me (tell me what I got wrong) I'd appreciate the feedback. First off... maybe a few too many polygons? There seem to be a few odd ripples in the skin between the 'fingers' that I was not expecting.

I don't know how many vertices you have in that wing surface, but my experience tells me it's likely there are too few rather than too many. Of course it's impossible to tell from here! Excellent modeling job!

I'd need to see the mesh, of course, but it may bee that you have too many very thin horizontal polygons. Adding some verticals between the fingers might smooth it out.

Great modeling work. I hope to see it textured. Good luck!
