I looked and saw it was in the animals genre. I am not European in that I don't think of a fish as a beastie like the Scots do or an animal as you do. Unlike a plant that is intimate with it's earth an animal is free from it's source of nutrients from time to time. But a fish is intimate with water and thus like a plant. Similarly ruminants like cows and goats that constantly pull at grass are less animal. A bird is the most animal and yet animal somehow conveys the concept of needing traction for it's animation. Which winds down my argument because now the bird is not much more than a fish. An animal then is like a big cat or a bear. Even a dog and house cat can do it with style. Which then asks is an ostrich the king of the animals? Denied flight it can enter a realm that it marks itself up well in.
