Desde hace un monton de tiempo me honra con su amistad y fue el quien me sugirio la idea de subir esta seie del Fin del Mundo.

A Pesca das qenyas. En Gallego quiere decir; la pesca de las quenyas. La quenya es una especie de tiburon que se da en el litoral de La Costa de la Muerte. Se le captura en embarcaciones de 3 o 4 hombres para la industria cosmetica.

It's kind of a heart wrenching image...particularly for someome who loves sharks (do you get that from my name?)...but it's nicely presented, and it does raise a LOT of questions. Poor Tiburones sniffle...

En primer lugar, gracias a todos por los posts. Efectivamente es una imagen triste, de sangre, dolor y muerte. Lamento profundamente haber herido la sensibilidad de algunas personas con su crudeza, pero el mundo es así de cruel. Yo tambien estoy en contra de los malos tratos a los animales, y muy especialmente si se trata de algo tan absurdo y superfluo como la industria cosmetica. Si los artistas no reproducimos estas imagenes, el mundo seguirá siempre igual de ciego. Gracias y feliz fin de semana. Juan Angel
