Description
I was at a friends house. As I approached the bluebird box, this baby came flying out.
This is the first time I have ever seen bluebirds fledge. I was able to get a quick shot
of this little one. We went in the house so we could watch thru the window without
disturbing mom.

Blue bird - beautiful little creature. I wonder what it thinks or feels, first time outside the nest. It takes a few tries before it gets to flying, and it has to learn just the right way to position its feathers to go where it wants to go. Yet, how much is learning/brain programing, and how much is pre-programmed/genetic? I'm always amazed at how "nature" does it! And thanks for comments on my posts! Keep up the good work! :-)
