2003 was undoubtedly the worst year of my life. Nothing could compare to the sheer, grinding awfulness of watching my mother slowly lose her fight against illness, and her eventual passing. Through the darkest of times, I have been truly fortunate to have the support and kindness of my family and friends. Without them I do not think I would have made it.
So, this image is for all of you good people who have helped me, put up with my atrocious behaviour, wild mood swings and all the bad things I have been. Thank you one and all.

Sam, really a wonderful image, (and you know I don't say this all the time and therefore dilute the compliment when it is truly deserved). For some reason, I always appreciate the most those images that include your "avatar." They are so personal and heartfelt. Thanks for sharing this.
