Description

Please Zoom In..... Poser Model Several years ago I modeled the USS Yorktown of Battle of Midway fame for the Vue community. I have now finished the Poser version which should be available in my store here in the next day or so. Since so many people use my Poser models and their obj files for other programs like DAZ Studio and Carrara, I have imported the Runtime Geometry Obj into Vue to see if it is as good as my original. I've worked the gray paint textures a bit more here along with plate lines.

Great shot of a stately lady, Don. The hull texture looks excellent, This should really excite the Poser artists out there. I've always thought this is a masterwork!

I see a number of Carrara and DAZ users using my models..I've been wondering about Bryce users... they can always use the obj files in the runtime geometry folder. Thanks again for the kind words...

Appreciate the comment. One of these days I plan to work something up for Egypt either modeling as I normally do for my own compositions or using other assets...but I know I will look at your sites for inspiration.

Welcome to retirement. I jumped off in 2004 and pleased with my efforts...if only I could force myself to read manuals... and then remember it : /

A spectacularly detailed model, and I like the way that it half disappears into the haze, emphasising the sheer size of the ship. Magnificent!

Thanks Phil...just hope the size doesn't kill it for the military Poser artists out there... Hopefully others will want to use the obj geometry files for their own applications like Bryce, DAZ and Carrara
