Description

On the road again we passed a school. When someone asked why all the students were doing their lessons on the playground our guide Needup responded with a slightly amused smile. "If it is a nice day, why would any teacher want to keep their students indoors?"

Indeed yes! I did very much of my teaching outdoors, but not usually in idyllic places like this.

I'm sure that many teachers would love to do this but are not allowed. Such was my case, but I did it a couple of times anyway. Never got anything done though, LOL!

I remember our class meeting outside exactly once in my entire school career. This is great!

Sounds reasonable to me, especially when you're surrounded by beautiful mountains...

Great idea!! Breaks the institutionalisation (spelling???) of the school environment.

this takes me back to my primary school days, outside if weather fine was always the case. This is a beautiful shot in many more ways than one.

So I wish teaching me. The thoughts are free. In the classroom-I have always felt trapped and my eyes always went out the window. As if waiting for the answer out. very nice shot!

This reminds me of the years, when I was a Fitness Instructor in an organized hall exercising with my clients, dreaming of being outdoors instead! but we usually had all the doors open for fresh air, come rain or shine and in the very hot Summers, only the ceiling-fans on - WAY TO GO! I say ... cool image Mark, BB

I don't remember ever having a class outside. This is a charming and beautiful picture. The setting is gorgeous; the mountains and buildings beautiful. The blue fence and many blue sweaters add to the charm. The children seem circled and protected, most of them looking studiously involved in their schoolwork. It is an idyllic scene for both the surroundings and the life it portrays. Beautiful shot!
