Description
I've been inspired by some of the lovely pond scenes others have rendered lately...particularly Djeser's and Madasatadpole's. Thank you for the inspiration :)
I also wanted to try my hand at some more sophisticated lighting techniques. With this image, I experimented with light gels - I must say, they're pretty wonderful (except for the brief moment when I had disco-like colored spots on all the trees, lol!)
Finally, this is dedicated to my six year-old niece, Zoe, who declared that magic wasn't real...until I explained to her that without magic wonderful beings like fairies wouldn't exist. Since that's obviously impossible, she once again believes in magic :)
Rendered in Vue 4.2 with a little color correction in Photoshop.

This is beyond magical; more of a fantastical dreamstate! Absolutely amazing environment and setting with all the lush plants and trees! Amazing detail and superb scene seup and the fae looks magnificent! My Vue images don't quite come out like this...perhaps a little fairy dust is in order! Superb artwork!!
