The great thing about abstracts such as this, is that they DO make beautiful pieces of art that would go with almost any decor in a home. The textures and colors are fantastic Egmont...well captured!

I want to thank Johannes AKA: WonderfulCreation for pointing out that the original upload was too dark. I have since reworked the image from the original exposure and replaced it. Again, thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Your photographs always have incredible textures. One wants to touch them, to feel the rough side. I always liked the colors and the range of the ground, and there you have a pallet of complete artist ! It's superb Egmont ! Hugs.

for me it looks like soldier 40! simple corrosion creating special art depending on everyones fantasy and the textures come alive and telling stories! I would prefer to see a woman on the market selling fruits! ;o))))

Yes Rita AKA: sossy, I wish that were so, but unfortunately there are no colours other than muted camouflage earthy tones. Tomorrow there will be colours to please you for sure.

Those textures and natural colours are a pleasure to look! I admire your fantasy... not sure if I was able to see the soldier without reading the title... but now it's clear to see! Thanks for sharing this amazing piece of art, my dear friend! *****

It's so much fun discovering things in the texturing. I see a parrot and a foetus. This is the heart of surrealist automatism. Dali's critical-paranoiac method. Keep shooting 'them' Egmont. I'm getting absorbed and motivated!

Just had a look at your articles, both, for Soldier48 and Sir Newton's proposition. Very helpful! Thx for the hint!

Very interesting. I admit, I saw nothing at first, just appreciated the image for it's varied textures and colors. I saw a figure and then visited your article to find I was pretty close to the mark. This reminds me of the popcorn texture on my ceiling. When I stare at it from my bed, I see faces and shapes quite clearly, but the next time I look, they are gone. Am I only seeing what my mind imposes upon the shapes, or are they always there, wait for their turn to grace my awareness?
