Description

This image is a recreation of my friends painting. The painting has great meaning to him and I just thought it would be fun to make it in Bryce. Thanks Tallen and thank you all for viewing and commenting. Dark Shawdow.

I like this very much. I have a question and a request: How did you do the big masses of little rocks? Surely those are not each and every one an individual object!?! And could you take a photo of your friend's painting and post it here in the Bryce gallery so we can see what it looks like?

The answer to the small line of rocks is draw a bunch of small odd shaped clumps in your favorate paint program then create a Symmetrical Lettice and paste the bitmap in there, hit the smooth button a couple of times and there you go. A great mass of rocks in any shape you want. And the answer to the painting. I don't have a digital camera on hand but I'll try to get ahold of one and post the image. Thanks for all the comments guys. If you need a more detailed description on the rocks just e-mail me at darkshawdow@digitalshawdows.com

Amazing scale and conception. Very cool rock clumps and thanks for the explanation on creating them. I'm just hoping there's elevators in those towers, lol. Wonderful work **
