The two stood strong
With sudden shout
The two stood firm
And spun about
As mother watched
A streak of pride
with love and joy
Ran strong inside
With precision movement
To snap at the end
And each turn balanced
A powerful blend
A formal bow
At the end of the kata
A sign of respect
To their Sensei Master.
A feeling of peace
A filling of joy
As they passed their test
Both girl and boy.
