I'd like to introduce everyone to the "Sugar plum faery," today. My past two entries into the 'Encyclopedia of Faery,' have been of the predominantly shy species of Fae, therefore today i have chosen this little bombastic creature as my subject. (or rather she has chosen me...) The "Sugar plum faerys" are said to have originally hailed from the wild fruit orchards of Estonia, but over the years their need to gain poularity & fame has led them to all 18 corners of the earth. It seems the ancient forest gods who created the fae aeons ago, appear to have gotten the earth "magics" a little muddled & instead of making them shy & illusive like all the other species, instead have made these little critters overbearing & bombastic. (to say the least) They have interwoven themselves so deeply into the fabric of society, that they seem to appear everywhere in literature, songs, poems & are even rumoured to know Bill Gates himself & the microsoft team. (take a look for yourself, in the "Windows X sound schemes.... "The Sugar Plum faery" song) Their natural habitat seems to be in the great metropolises' of America, Europe & Asia, in fact anywhere that they can be noticed & appreciated! Their staple diet consists of MickeyD burgers, sodas, ice cream & all things bad for you... If in fact you do at some time encounter one of these tiny beasts... run in the opposite direction, 'cause they're liable to attemp to get you to exploit them in some manner.
