O.K....this is my first attempt at modeling. I'm using Wings 3d and this is as far as I've gotten. I still have a lot of detail to do on the bottom of the ship, landing gear etc...but I really need some good advice on texturing in Wings 3d. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for viewing, and please feel free to comment.

For texturing Segment off the Thrust Pods as seperate objects. I found it best to manually specify the Texture Segments in the UV mapper. Because The craft has a wedge shap segment the Top, Bottom, and sides as seperate Segment. Then Use the projection mapping. Be aware that if you have any materials specified the UV mapping blows them away in wings. Looks great so far can't wait to see the final render.

U got some talent there buddy. My first one is nowhere near as neat as this one. texturing is my problem too. I see a lot of potential for this ship, looks fantastiq so far. I agree, I cant wait to see the final output, must be one owesome ship. Keep us updated, I really want to see how U get the final coming. Good Luck.
