Description
Canon EOS 10D, Canon 100-400L IS lens at 250mm
ISO 400, 1/1600 sec at f5.0 with flash extender
It's always a challenge to capture a bird without a cluttered up background. Often, I move around to try to get the perfect shot only to have the bird fly away. In this shot, there was only blue sky and palm trees behind the bird, so it worked nicely. The trees are far enough away that they are only a blur at f5.
