Well, this is a picture of the beach down the street from my house. i kept the natural lighting because it seemed to give it a more natural look.

lovely lighting & curve of the land... the image is pretty big though to fully appreciate, something else to keep in mind is to not cut your photos in half, either have the horizon 1 or 2/3 up depending if you want more sky or water (google for the rule of thirds, although not all rules are set in stone) :]
