WOW, what an amazing scene. Again, the detail is just mind blowing. And what wonderful characters you have created to bring your story to life. The mother is particularly grand, and I also am intrigued with the brother-in-law. You have really put this together beautifully! :o) CC

Rena: I've been following the adventure with great interest and pleasure. Fabulous imagination and composition. But something was bothering me, which I finally realized: all of the figures and settings are in perfect focus! Everywhere one looks, the objects are in clear focus. As a result, the center of interest--Mother, in this case--does not stand out. In a movie, the camera operator would have used a low f-stop so that Mother is in focus while the figures in front and behind were slightly blurred, taking advantage of the camera lens' depth of field. Poser's camera settings allow you to play with focal distance and f-stop. In Photoshop, you could selectively apply some blur to the off-center objects. You might try experimenting to add some depth to your otherwise incredible images. Keep up the great work. Glad to see you back. Bob

why is it blurry? Oh wait. I don't have my glasses on. Yeah, that's better. Another great render. Too bad Poser doesn't facilitate aging a character. The mother would look more realistic with a very slightly larger nose tip, brow ridge and ears, with the hair receding in more of a widow's peak. Why is she made up less than the girl? I thought after 40, especially in that time period, makeup was applied with bricklaying tools?

VRLowKey..she IS aged but not an old hug! LOL Once she's brought up much closer in some future chapters you'll be able to see what I mean! :) The Character is a beautiful lady who's got in her 60's, well preserved as any grand lady would be..not with one foot in the grave! :) If I recall right..women were having children at quite an early age at that period so she's just fine for the part! I'm not after an aged cacicature of a mother but someone who's inspiring "respect" and "class".. :)

Beautiful composition Rena, mum looks like a very classy older lady. Personally I didnt think that women got a widow's peak, I've only ever seen that in men..Also, it was only the very rich that wore tons of makeup (even the men), and I think that was a couple of hundred years before this that they wore it. Rena, dont take any notice of VRLowKey, he/she is a bit muddled.
