Just messing around with photoshop and a few images I found online. Oh and be gentle, I'm still new to this :)

Yep, it's weird alright. To make it more interesting, try changing the opacity of the face layer so some of the background shows through. Try different settings...maybe even make the face just barely visible. I'd like to see the result.
