By Meezan Walking home late one pleasant night I saw some creature under dim light It didn�t move, it didn�t talk It was a weak and dying dog My heart was filled with pain, misery I went near and moved close to see I took my cam* and held it high And took a picture with a deep sigh The flash went off, picture taken The dog disturbed from its SLEEP, awakened The dog not dead, sleeping, stood up Furious, staring, saying wassap He barked and barked, gathered his friends They were five and my lonely soul intense And then I ran like never before Leading this group of five or four Coward you say? Well you tell me What to do and where to be I lead this pack of wolves, breathless Scared like a little girl, I confess I ran very fast, yes sir I did Like a crying, screaming, scared shitless kid I prayed to god let them drown in ditches Save me from these sick sons of bitches SOBs they really were They chased my ass so very very far At last they backed up off my ass And I was left to curse them and gasp I gathered my breath and stood with a smile Gesturing that I had fun all this while Friends laughed at me and I ashamed Come back and fight like a man, I screamed That scary night I will not forget When I and those soulless creatures met Never will I go near a dog in slumber Those dogs were dumb and I was dumber * Camera (I was writing some pretty depressing stuff for some time now and I wanted some change. So I wrote that romantic poem �I wait for you� and now this humorous piece. I hope you like it. As always comments and suggestions are more than welcomed. Also I really was chased by 4 or 5 dogs few weeks ago in a dark ally. No one got hurt in the end.)
