Description

I actually found a use for Poser! *LOL* I can't stand generic Poser stuff, particularly when rendered sans postwork (99.9% of the time anyway) but I've got to admit it's good for creating anatomical forms to be used as sources for abstracts. Anyway, at least I'm not requiring textbook accuracy for this sort of thing ;-) The subject of this? Ummmmmmmmmmm... putting it criminally simply, the conscious and subconscious focus of two interacting individuals' brains in a given moment! If that comes across as pretentious, well excuse me ;-) Created tonight, 1% Poser, 99% Photoshop As always thank you for your feedback :-)

Oh gorgeous colors here Jim!! I love the design too!! And I too totally hate these stupid lifeless Poser dolls! But when used this way, it's a different story! This actually makes me think of the movie "I, Robot"!. I guess it would have been a perfect poster for the movie! ;)

Interesting. Not pretentious at all. It's a fresh look at Posers/Manakins too.

wow Jim I love this! Great composititon & colours & it has to be the best use of poser I've seen in a long time lol! I can almost feel the energy between them, like a dance of the subtle energy fields! Not pretentious at all & a brilliant execution of a complex concept ; )

I always knew that someone would do something great with Poser one day! Guess it had to be you, Jim. You're opening a door to all sorts of possibilities. Like the graphic touch, as well. That's another thing that I don't see much of around here, but which can be effective and cool.

Fantastic colours here, and sharp too! I really like the subject, its not pretentious at all, it makes me think about how we can never really know another person as we just cannot get inside their heads ... it also makes me think of the difficulties in knowing yourself Very intriguing!

Wonderful. Reminds me of the film THX1138 in terms of mood. I also get a sense of the sad emotioinlessness of androids in your work. It would go really well with Asimov short stories.

always thought this sort of work was the way to go with poser & have seen it used as such... you've successfully added your own style! like the graphic feel of it & color... they still appear a bit stiff but works here :]

Love this!! This is a great example of Poser images being cool when you can't tell its a Poser image. The postwork is very Synapsian!!

Now I like this Jim there seems to be a sort of caring between the two a definite feeling of interface. The poser figures make good androids. Nice one.

What adjective should I use for this one?? I can't decide on one at the moment, but I will say that I find this as deep as any of your others my friend. I can definitely see the thought that went into this work, and it really does make me think about 'communication' as I look at it. Also, I really have to agree with your view of Poser despite the fact that I use it all the time. I love to capture the human form with it and really enjoy the program... I just hate the way that it is typically put to use. Brilliant image as always my friend.
