Description
This little hoverfly was buzzing around my rose garden, luckily he took a short break right infront of me. I must have been lucky that day! This was taken November 2004.
Still going through last years work because at the moment everything was burned to a crisp after yesterday's scorcher. 42 degrees where I live (~108 F).
To Sapphyre_net and all the other flower enthusiasts: Yes, I have plenty of flower photos to come, but I'll be trying to work in alternative genres so the non flower people dont get bored lol.
Thankyou all for your comments, I really need to get back to commenting on everyone elses work though, being online twice a week only is so annoying!=)

Yes a perect moment in which the 'muses' laid their hand upon your shoulder so that you might capture in all shades of colour and crispness this hoverfly for eternity. Bravo!
